Although it's multi-tentacled fire-breathing demons give it the appearance of innocent friendliness, there is a nasty surprise in the form of the weighted Hammer of Doom vertically mounted on the back of Lauren's vehicle, just waiting to claim it's first victim.

Brendan's vehicle
Inspired by Kathy's revolutionary (though sort of crappy) round vehicle from the 2001 competition, Brendan sought to further develop this idea into a fearsomely huge vehicle that could achieve great speeds while also possessing the ability to steamroll the competition.

April's vehicle
As we all learned from the 1980 movie The Cannonball Run (featuring Sammy Davis Jr., Dom Deluise, and Jackie Chan), the best vehicle for speeding past the competition is an ambulance. And what better way to deal with the casualties inherent in the Structural Integrity Contest, than to have a team of LEGO doctors standing by?
